This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that holds the record.

Official Emery County Contacts

Start with the agency responsible for the event. For a recent local jail stay, the Emery County Sheriff’s Office and Jail can confirm whether someone is still housed and can explain the current method for requesting the booking and custody-release entry. Published sources do not list separate jail-records hours, so call before visiting or sending a request.

A release order and the physical jail exit are different records. The Emery County Justice Court is at 1850 N. 560 W., Castle Dale, UT 84513, and can be reached at 435-381-5194 on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., except county holidays. For felony and district matters, use the Seventh District Court Emery County directory; the county directory lists 435-381-5419.

Choose the path that matches the question:

  • For a released person or the release record, use the home page for the full jail, court, UDC, and GRAMA path.
  • For community supervision, call Emery County Adult Probation at 435-381-2143 or use Parole / Probation. The formal UDC Region 6 office in Price is at 1365 South Carbon Avenue, Price, UT 84501, phone 435-636-2800; call to verify hours.
  • For a same-day local exit, see Released Last 24 Hours. Emery County does not publish an official rolling release feed, so the page explains the phone and records-request fallback.
  • For a possible date or automated alert, check the Inmate Release Date and VINELink Release Check resources. Utah VINE is also available at 1-877-884-8463.
  • For a specific building, use the Emery County Jail page. It separates local jail releases from UDC prisoners housed there under contract.
  • For a sentenced Utah prisoner, use the Utah Department of Corrections Offender Search. UDC release and institutional records should be requested from UDC, not Emery County.
  • For a federal or immigration matter, use the responsible federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. A missing Emery County jail record does not establish federal release.

The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole publishes a hearing and decision search and answers status questions at 801-261-6464. Board decisions can document an authorized parole date, while UDC and Adult Probation and Parole handle custody and supervision.
